The Wine:

This captivating red wine is a powerful blend of 50% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and 25% Carignan, delivering a complex profile with deep, rich flavors. Grown in calcareous and gravelly soils, the wine reflects its Mediterranean terroir and offers a distinctive expression of the region.

Winemaking:

The grapes are mechanically harvested, followed by separate vinification of each variety to preserve their individual characteristics. Fermentation with temperature control ensures optimal extraction of flavors. The wine is aged in barrels for 8 months, allowing it to develop a smooth, integrated profile.

Chateau Ricardelle Vignelacroix from Languedoc wines is raised in old oak barrels, the nose is captivating with its complex bouquet of blackcurrants, spices and garrigue. The attack presents a silky and balanced mouth, even in its long finish. The tannins are still firm, but should soften after a year of laying down. To be savoured preferably with game, duck breast or rib steak.
