Grape Variety:
Juliette: A Bold and Elegant Blend of 70% Syrah, 20% Carignan, and 10% Grenache from AOP La Clape
The Wine:
Juliette is a captivating red wine crafted from a harmonious blend of 70% Syrah, 20% Carignan, and 10% Grenache. Grown in the prestigious AOP La Clape, this wine showcases the unique terroir of sandy-clay soils with a limestone basement, adding depth and complexity to each bottle.
Winemaking:
Hand-harvested with careful plot selection, the grapes undergo separate vinification to preserve their individual character. Aged in barrels for 15 months, the wine develops its rich flavors and smooth tannins, enhancing its aging potential.
Tasting Notes:
- Color: Ebony with purplish reflections, showcasing its depth and intensity.
- Aroma: A fusion of black fruits, spices, and liquorice notes, creating an aromatic complexity.
- Palate: Exquisite tannins with a slender body, complemented by blackcurrant aromas. The wine finishes with a remarkable length, marked by hints of chocolate, and a tonic, woody finish.
Food and Wine Pairing:
Perfectly paired with rich dishes such as entrecôte, duck breast, and tournedos Rossini. It also complements decadent chocolate desserts or can be enjoyed alongside a cigar for a truly indulgent experience.
13.5% alcohol for a balanced, structured wine.
Aging Potential:
With its exceptional structure and depth, Juliette can be cellared for 8 to 10 years depending on the vintage, allowing it to evolve beautifully over time.
